We recycle anything that’s made primarily of Metal. Steel, iron, appliances, cars, copper, copper wire, brass, radiators, lead, auto batteries, aluminum, stainless steel catalytic converters, etc…if it’s metal we’ll buy it from you.

What won’t you recycle? (Back)

We won’t take anything that is not metal. No plastics, cardboard, wood, glass, electronics, trash, etc.
We do NOT accept the following metal items:
- Manhole Covers (unless from government entity)
- Grocery Carts (unless proof of ownership)
- Beer Kegs (unless proof of ownership)
- Rail Road Steel (unless certificate from company)
- Gas/Propane/Oil/Fuel tanks (unless drained, valves off, and depressurized)
- Any Metal containing Mercury
- Precious Metals

Do you accept any Eligible Electronic Devices ( EEDs)? (Back)

EEDs do NOT include cell phones, digital cameras, ipods, etc.

Will you buy my old junk vehicle? (Back)

Yes, we will!
We pay top dollar for junk vehicles and provide free towing in Dane County
We offer 2 options:
- Drive the vehicle to our yard, we will weigh it and pay you by the pound
- We will give you a quote for your vehicle, tow it away for free, and pay you on the spot

What do I need to do to junk my vehicle? (Back)

Bring your vehicle in or schedule an appointment for pickup/li>
We just need the title to your vehicle
If for some reason, you do not have the title, we will require a driver’s license, proof of ownership (vehicle registration, proof of insurance, etc.) and to fill out a Junked Vehicle Bill of Sale (download in PDF format or as a Word Doc)
We will process the vehicles at our yard (drain fluids, Freon, etc.) meaning you can bring the vehicle in as is.

Will your business remove and take away my metal? (Back)

Generally, no.
For large quantities of metal (thousands of lbs.), we offer dumpster rentals.
For large jobs, we can provide a clam truck that can physically pick up metal, load it into trailers, and haul it away. Call for additional information.

How does your metal recycling dumpster service work? (Back)

Call our office and let us know where, when and how long you need a dumpster/li>
We will deliver the dumpster, and you fill it with your metal
When the dumpster is full, call us and we will pick it up or exchange it for an empty one
When the project is done, and we have the dumpster back, we will cut you a check for the weight and mail it to you.

Can I buy scrap metal from you? (Back)

Do you have any parts for my car? (Back)

No, we do not part out any vehicle that comes into our lot, however our sister companies under the same ownership do part out vehicles and can get you what you need. Call us and ask for more information.

How does the vehicle scale work? (Back)

When the scale is empty, drive your vehicle onto the scale and stop/li>
When you see the stoplight flash green, your weight has been stamped and you may proceed to the yard to unload your metal.
Once your metal has been unloaded, repeat the process of driving onto the scale for an empty weight
Stop in the office to collect your payment
Any metal you drop is communicated from the yard to the office, so there is no need to stop in and tell the office what metal you have prior to your entrance into the yard.

How much will you pay me/what are your prices? (Back)

Will you just tow my vehicle for me? (Back)

Once we get into your yard, will you unload the metal for me? (Back)

Yes, we can. We have several different pieces of equipment that can help unload your metal. Everything from large cranes with grapples and magnets, to small forklifts, there is nothing we can’t handle./li>
If we are unloading your vehicle trailer with a piece of equipment, we ask that you and your passengers get out of the vehicle and stand in front of it, away from the unloading process.
